Forty Voices, Forty Years is a heritage project led by Welsh Women’s Aid in collaboration with the George Ewart Evans Centre for Storytelling at the University of South Wales. Women’s memories, voices and lives have often been written out of our national heritage, so this project aims to capture this hidden history, celebrating our 40th year and commemorating the work of the Women’s Aid movement in Wales. It will do this with a collection of oral histories, digital stories, an exhibition and archive materials from women and services.
