Ernest and Uriah Burton (Twentieth century)
Ernest Burton (d.1960) was a former Romani Chell. His son Uriah (d.1986), also known as 'Big Just' or 'Hughie', invested in setting up his father's memorial on the summit of Moel y Golfa. Uriah was also a successful bare knuckle fighter and activist for Romani rights.
