Leopold Abse (1917-2008)
Leopold Abse was born into a Jewish family in Cardiff. He was the brother of writer Dannie Abse and psychoanalyst Wilfred Abse. Leo was a lawyer and politician in the Labour Party. As MP, he campaigned to decriminalise homosexuality and liberalise divorce law.
