War Time: Prisoners of War (Talybont on Usk)
Between 1944 and 1946 German prisoners of war were held at Bwlch from where they worked on local farms, forestry and a saw mill. Three eventually settled in Talybont with Rudy Hansel and Max Tschackert marrying sisters Mary and Sadie Morgan.
