Then & Now: Barry Docks
In 1913, over 11 million tonnes of coal and coke passed through Barry Docks. Extensive railway sidings served coal hoists at the quaysides.
Much remains in the docks, including dry docks, railway approaches and stone plinths of the dockside coal hoists.
