Paviland
Located on the Gower Peninsula, the Goat's Hole Cave at Paviland was home to the oldest known human burial in Europe. The "Red Lady of Paviland", discovered in 1823, was buried some 30,000 years ago. It has since become clear that the skeleton was male.
