Gustav Pritshow was a merchant seaman in 1894 when he married Ann Williams from Morfa Nefyn. They had a daughter, Dorothy Theresa (1898–1982), and a son, John Albert (1904–1924). John died young in a drowning accident. Gustav lost his wife, Ann, in 1932 and he himself died in 1941. Dorothy never married.
