Description

Patchwork quilt made from tailor's samples in a variety of colours. Patches are rectangles cut from suit or coat- weight wool flannel. Hand-stitched with red cotton in a spiral pattern. The backing fabric is printed red paisley cotton. Probably late nineteenth century or early twentieth century.
