St Mary's Church, Brecon, c. 1865

Description

A sparsely populated scene of central Brecon from around 1865, looking towards St Mary's Church and its lofty early 16th century Buckingham Tower. The statue of the Duke of Wellington looks, appropriately enough, towards the Wellington Hotel. A carriage from the Castle of Brecon Hotel, is pulling away.
