Touring entertainers 'The Follies', 1900s

Description

A promotional card from the heyday of the fashion for 'taking the waters' at the inland spa towns of mid-Wales. The large numbers of visitors who came to stay in the hotels and boarding houses were entertained by many touring musicians and other performers. This card depicts 'The Follies' who 'had the honour of appearing before their Majesties the King and Queen'. This card advertises their appearance at the Albert Hall in Llandrindod Wells, for one night only.
