Description
The ornate gold-embossed cover of a 1902 souvenir album of views for visitors to Llandrindod Wells. It contained 31 handsome new 'Photo Chromo Colored Views' of the then fashionable mid-Wales spa resort. The album was produced by the enterprising William Thomas of the Emporium Welsh Woollen Warehouse in the town, a pioneering example of the department store.
