A page from the 'Emporium New & Enlarged Album of Views of Llandrindod Wells and Neighbourhood' of around 1900. This features portraits of three generations of the enterprising Thomas family of Penybont, including William Thomas who opened the Central Wales Emporium in Llandrindod Wells in 1881. The page also carries a drawing of the shop opened in Penybont in 1799 which launched the successful mid-Wales trading dynasty.
