Motor vehicles eventually replaced the horse drawn carriages which originally took visitors to local beauty spots. Newspaper advertisements by Brookes Brothers in 1912 announced 'the latest and most up-to-date Motor Coaches, Taxis, Cabs and Touring Cars. Rhyl's new feature-the beautiful and most modernly equipped " White Rose" Motor Coach'.
