Triple Harp
Description
Made by John Richards in 1764, when he was living in Glanbrân, Carmarthenshire.
The harp is red in colour, and it is likely that some harps made in Glanbrân were sent to Pontypool to be japanned.
The triple harp has three rows of strings. The outer rows equate to the white keys on a piano, and the middle row to the black keys.
