Wales and the League of Nations 1930-1931

Description

The 1930-1931 annual report for the Welsh League of Nations Union. During this period, membership altered drastically due to decision to alter how membership was counted. It became based on paid membership. This decision indicated that past membership figures included everyone who had ever been a member. The restructuring resulted in membership figures drastically falling from the previous year. Adult membership totaled 13,570 with Junior membership 7223 (pp. 17 -18). The report explained how a ‘Reorganisation Committee’ was formed in order to recommend changes to Welsh LNU activities and local branches (pp. 21- 25).
