Solomon Andrews's Patent Omnibus, Cardiff, c. 1863

Description

This horse-drawn omnibus carried passengers from Canton railway station to Cardiff docks. Solomon Andrews was awarded his first cab licence in Cardiff in 1863 and by 1873 he owned 35 vehicles licensed to carry passengers.
