Wales and World Peace 1936-1937
Description
The 1936-1937 annual report of the Executive Committee to the Welsh National Council of the League of Nations Union. During 1936- 1937, the foundation stone of the Temple of Peace and Health was laid in Cathays (Cardiff). The report described the event and reprinted newspaper articles that provided coverage (pp. 3- 7). Adult and Junior membership grew marginally (pp. 15 -18). Despite the progress made in Wales, the international situation worsened. A report by Gwilym Davies summarised the wider international situation (pp. 52- 58).
