A family picture of Emily and Bill Eversley of 17 Kingsway Newport. Bill was a merchant seaman who sailed from Newport and Cardiff Docks and Emily was the daughter of an African Kru member from Sierra Leone (Benjamin Johnson 1892). The children are their eldest, Juanita on the right and Paul on the left.
