This is an audio clip from an interview with Stanley Soffa in which he discusses the origins of his maternal grandfather, Barney Roden in Russia, and his escape from the religious pogroms of the late 19th Century.
In his interview, Stanley talks about his time as a lawyer for a number of law firms in Cardiff and Newport, and later, as a member of the Crown Prosecution Service. He also discusses his family history, his role in establishing the Interfaith Council and the importance of interfaith dialogue in Cardiff.
