Underground outside toilet by Abercwmeiddaw quarry
Description
Corris Uchaf. Up by the Abercwmeiddaw quarry mill shed, built into the slate waste tip next to it is an unusual underground outside toilet. There are no doors and just a hard slate trought to stand by or sit on the edge of. Cold in winter but out of sight and out of the rain.

Hi
I photographed this building a few years ago, unaware of its use... I am now researching for article which will include the variety of toilets in the slate quarries. Was wondering what the source for describing this as a toilet (I dont doubt it) was. ant find anyway of cntacting you. [email protected]
Thanks
