Chapter 10 - Canadian soldiers riots and deaths

After the First World War Prime Minister David Lloyd George had Strikes, mutinies and riots to cope with, not to mention the collapse of the British Empire, This recording briefly addresses two riots caused by Canadian troops in 1919.
The soldiers were angry that they had not been allowed to return home to Canada and this resulted in significant rioting by the soldiers, with clear signs that Bolshevism was a factor. Both riots result in in death, one in Kinmel Bay in Wales and the other in Surrey which resulted in the death of a police sergeant
