Caernarfon Ironopolis, c.1890s

Description

Caernarvon Ironopolis were formed in 1894 after the demise of Caernarvon Athletic football club. They were so-called because the team were employees of De Wintens Iron Works.

The club was formed by workmen and apprentices of De Winton's ironworks in 1891. They were semi-finalists in the Welsh Cup in 1900 and folded in 1903
