Llantwit Major Admiralty Signal Station
Description
The Coastguard Station was enlarged in 1914 to act as an Admiralty Signal Station to help protect the huge amount of shipping using the ports in the Bristol Channel during WWI. The men shown were all members of the Coastguard Service.
