Enclosed with this letter from Mihangel ap Iwan to his sister, Mair erch Iwan, was a duplicate of a draft for £15 to be withdrawn from the Bala Bank (National Provincial). In the letter, Mihangel tells Mair that she could have a nice holiday with this money, as his return journey to Chile was less than £20. Mihangel does not remember whether he has told them about this journey already, but he visited Santiago, Valparaiso and Vina del Mar.
