Letter from the Liverpool Colonizing Committee to the Rev. Michael D. Jones, December 1863 [page 1, image 1 of 2]

Description

The members of the Liverpool Colonizing Society write to inform Michael D. Jones that they are opposed to the plan proposed by Cadivor [Thomas Cadivor Wood]. They believe it to be both 'treacherous and damaging'. They are wholly in favour of a Welsh Settlement. They warn Michael D. Jones to be on his guard against businessmen who may have different ideas and ideals.
