Photoscoot 2020: site of National School, Aberystwyth
Description
The map accompanying the 'Borough' guide published by the Town Council and Edward J Burrows Co around 1905 shows the Nation School at this location. The school was built in 1865 but demolished in 1987. The front wall and the plaque 'Y Hen Ysgol' on the wall near the entrance of the flats are the only clues of the school's former existence.
