During the 1930s the Irish Mail was a service operated by London, Midland and Scottish Rail (LMS) that ran from Euston to Holyhead. Packet boats then made the sea crossing to Ireland. This is menu from one of the ferries, and contains the breakfast and luncheon menus, together with an extensive wine list. The artwork was designed by Francis Henry Glazebrook (1893 – 1967) who taught geography and art at Trearddur House School. He was also a competent sailor, naturalist and artist.
