The Grand Theatre is a popular venue for plays, musicals and Christmas pantomimes. The theatre has a long history, but provides all modern amenities.

Various extensions have been made to the theatre. To the right of the main entrance, is the popular Footlights Restaurant, while the most recent extension can be seen rising at the rear.
