This cottage, which offers bed and breakfast accommodation to visitors, was displaying a "No Vacancies" sign.

These residences were once almshouses owned by the local parish church. They were used to house destitute women in the parish of Llanfihangel Cwmdu.

At the rear of the almshouses are tiny back yards containing what would once have been outdoor privies.

The edges of this wheatfield are populated with ox-eye daisies in full bloom.
