Abermynach Brickworks, Aberangell 1902. As far as in known this is the only photograph taken of the brick-works situated alongside the river at Abermynach. An attempt by the owners of Hendreddu slate quarry to break into the already declining industrial brick production the venture was a total failure. Attempts to lease it out were also doomed and all production had ceased by 1914. The building was used until about 1920 as a sawmill and then demolished.
