Contract of 1854 leasing land owned by John Colby at Kenross, Tynewydd & Rhislas in Pembrey, to Mason & Elkington for 60 years for the purpose of mining coal etc for copper smelting. Sets out conditions for payment, use, maintenance of mines & machinery, restoration of land etc. Hand copied by Thomas Bowen.
