Clynnog Carnaervonshire, 1895 by Annie Cummings

Description

The structure was burnt down by the Vikings in the 10th century and then, again, by the Normans in
the 11th century.
Its repeated restoration
confirmed its importance
on the Pilgrims Way.
The existing church was
built on the 7th century
foundations in the 16th
century.
These views of the church
were recorded by both sisters
