Description
The students are believed to be visitors to Dyffryn House and Gardens, near St. Nicholas, Glamorgan c.1925 from an Oxbridge college. The Pompeiian Garden was commissioned by Reginald Cory and was inspired by his trips to Italy earlier in his life. This garden was built in 1909 and was part of the original Mawson design containing colonnades, loggia and a fountain.
