The Great Wall Chinese Takeaway was once Catherine Morgan's Sweetshop. She is thought to have been the inspiration for Roald Dahl's 'Mrs Pratchett', and was the scene of 'The Great Mouse Plot' in his book 'Boy'. A Blue Plaque commemorating his childhood in Llandaff is displayed on the shop in the High Street.
