Welsh Women's Peace Appeal, full declaration text on display in the Senedd, 2017 (Women War & Peace Exhibition)
The 1923 Welsh Women’s Peace Petition, coordinated by the Welsh League of Nations Union, was signed by 390,296 women in a call for America to join and lead the League of Nations, to prevent the outbreak of another war in the aftermath of World War One.
