Richard is a retired builder and haulier who has lived near Elan Valley for over 20 years. He used to visit regularly and reminisced about the railway station at Marteg Bridge and going to school in Evenjobb. His second recording tells of the tollgates by the clock in Rhayader which were removed to let circus elephants come through many years before.
