Description

A souvenir programme from the Festival of Britain celebrations at Theatr Colwyn. The Festival of Britain took place between May and September 1951. It aimed to raise the nation's spirits after the devastation of war and years of rationing and austerity. The Festival aimed to promote art, design and industry and celebrations were held in cities, towns and villages all over the country.
