These are scenes from the Colwyn Bay Repertory Theatre's performance of 'Cranford', adapted from the novel by Elizabeth Gaskell. With Patricia Hastings, Clara Widdicombe, Nancy Lord, Joan Hughes, Hetty Ellis, Dorothea Rundle, Jack Raymond, Ruita Dagmur, Dennis Rhyder and Patrick Desmond. The photographs were taken by local photographer Arthur Wrigley. As rep performances only lasted a week, Wrigley would photograph the performance on Monday night and then have them developed and printed overnight to be displayed outside the theatre on the Tuesday.
