This film shows a selection of local matches played in the Ebbw Vale area, including the visit of the All Blacks to face a combined team from Ebbw Vale and Abertillery. There were three Richard Thomas and Baldwins steelwork employees in the line-up to face the touring All Blacks. Unfortunately, the home side lost 22-3 against the New Zealanders who had won 24 of the 28 games played during their tour.
