On the back is written: 'Miss Claridge aged about 90. Outside her cottage at Dyffryn Castell. Taken by Gwyneth in 19[??].' On the 1911 Census there is a single women, aged 59, named Eliza A. Claridge living at Dyffryn Castell so it's possible that this is the 'Miss Claridge' in the photo. The Claridge family lived in Dyffryn Castell at the end of the 19th century.
