Fishguard and Rosslare Harbour (2022)

Description

In this film, we look into Fishguard and Rosslare Harbour, two Celtic port towns that are connected and intertwined by the ferries which serve them. We get to know the history of these routes and the relationships that they continue to nourish. We meet up with the Welsh Todds and the Irish Fergusons who share the history of their special family connection across the sea and who show us how they are inspired by this fascinating crossing.

Produced by Mother Goose Films. Commissioned by Aberystwyth University as part of the Ports, Past and Present project. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Co-operation Programme.
