Tip Carts such as this were used to take Lime or Manure to the fields or to gather root crops. Model scale 1" to 1 ft, measured from the original at Bryn Elian Farm, Dolwen, Abergele. The original cart was built by Richard Owen, Wheelwright around 1920. Census records for 1911 show him living at Glasmor, Glan Conwy. By 1939 he is listed as a Master Wheelwright, suggesting one or more apprentices.
