Description
Horse Drawn Field Rollers were used to break down clods after ploughing to prepare the surface for sowing or planting. With twin rollers such as this it was easier to turn at the headland or manoeuvre through gates. Model scale 1" to 1 Ft, measured from the original in the Conwy Valley. Original Roller from Rhiwlas, Tregeiriog, Denbighshire.
