John Price: Persistence in the face of Adversity
Description
John Price was a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pembrokeshire in the 1840s. He encountered considerable opposition, particularly in Little Newcastle. He persisted in his missionary efforts but finally gave up on the village. One young man whom he had taught, however, would go on to engage in the missionary work and demonstrate lifelong devotion to the 'Mormon' church.
