Reverend J O Williams( John the O was indication of the farm he grew up on Ochyrbryn and not his official name. He was the first vicar of Gilfach Goch in the 1920s then rector of Gelligaer then rector of St Msartins Caerphilly and Rural dean of Caerphilly. He died in 1973
