By the end of the nineteenth century, Llandeilo had its fair share of performance venues, such as the chapels, the Civic Hall (or Drill Hall / Victoria Hall), Market Hall, and St Teilo's Church. These hosted countless concerts, fundraisers, and eisteddfodau, which drew audiences from far and wide. This Sacred Cantata of “Rebekah” and miscellaneous concert was held by The Church Choral Society, and included soloists and a full orchestra. The concert was held at the Drill Hall, Llandilo / Llandeilo on Friday, 4 April 1913.
