By the end of the nineteenth century, Llandeilo had its fair share of performance venues, such as the chapels, the Civic Hall (or Drill Hall / Victoria Hall), Market Hall, and St Teilo's Church. These hosted countless concerts, fundraisers, and eisteddfodau, which drew audiences from far and wide. This is a programme of two evenings of Entertainment by Christy Minstrels, Llandilo / Llandeilo, hld at the Drill Hall (Civic Hall), Llandeilo, on Thursday and Friday, 29 & 30 December 1887. The Musical Director was C. G. Phillips; and the Stage Manager was J. Lafferty. Proceeds in aid of a Literary and Gymnasium Club for Volunteers.
