Eglwys Brynach Sant, Nanhyfer
Description
St Brynach's Church in Nevern was founded by the saint in the 6th century. The tower is the oldest part of the present building, dating from the 13th century; while the interior was refurnished in Victorian times. Many visitors come to see the Celtic cross and the ancient stones inscribed in Ogham. There is also the Bleeding Yew, from which a red sap oozes; it is said that it will continue to bleed until a Welsh monarch sits upon the throne in the nearby Castle.
