There are six bells in St Mary's. Up until December 2023, they were quite difficult to call, as the rope bearings and pulleys had seized. There hasn't been a permanent band of ringers here for several years, but bands from other churches visit the tower. The ringers in this photo are from St Brynach's Church in Nevern.
