This is one of the mural tablets in the Church and commemorates the famous sculptor, John Gibson, who was born at Gyffin, which is now part of Conway. He studied under Canova in Italy. Many of his works are found at Hafod Unos, Llangernyw and the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff.
